Execution Steps

Design a Focus Environment
Remove high-dopamine triggers (phone, tabs, notifications) from the workspace before you start.

Time-Box a Single Target
Pick one objective for the block. Define “done” in one sentence to prevent scope creep.

Work in 50/10 Cycles
50 minutes deep work, 10 minutes recovery. During recovery: walk, water, breathe—no scrolling.

Track Distraction Events
Each time you drift, mark a tally. The goal is fewer tallies over time, not “perfect focus.”

End With a Shutdown Ritual
Write the next action for tomorrow, close loops, and stop thinking about it at night.
