Who writes the Journal

LifeScore Editorial Team

The LifeScore Editorial Team writes and updates the LifeScore Journal. We are writers and editors, not clinicians. We explain published psychology research in plain English, cite the studies we rely on, and correct articles when the evidence changes or a reader spots a mistake. Nothing we publish is a diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice.

How we work

  • We cite what we claim

Every factual claim in a rewritten article points to a study, a test publisher or an official source, listed under References. If we cannot find a source, we cut the claim.

  • We say what our test is

The LifeScore IQ test is a 25-question online visual reasoning test. It gives an estimate, not a clinical score, and the full report is a paid unlock. We say so wherever we mention it.

  • We do not diagnose

Articles about stress, mood, sleep or relationships are general information. If something is affecting your daily life, talk to a doctor or a qualified therapist.

  • We correct mistakes

Articles show the date they were last updated. When a reader points out an error, or new evidence changes the picture, we fix the article.

Earlier versions of some articles carried the names of individual experts. Those bylines did not belong to real, verifiable people, so we removed them and rewrote the articles under the team name. Read the full editorial policy, or contact us to report a mistake.
