How this practice test works
The CCAT is a speed test: 50 questions in 15 minutes, and very few people finish. This practice test runs on the same clock with the same number of questions, and you cannot go back once you move on.
Question types are mixed and get harder as you go: synonyms, analogies, sentence completion, word problems, a data table, number series, deduction and shape sequences. Every question is original to LifeScore; none comes from a real CCAT.
Blanks count as wrong, as on the real test, so a quick guess always beats a skip.
How to read your score
Your raw score is the number you got right. We convert it to a percentile using the table reported for real CCAT takers, where 24 is the 50th percentile (see the full CCAT percentile chart). Treat it as an estimate: nerves and familiarity move scores on the day.
Employers set their own minimums. Reported guidance runs from about 17 for customer service to 24 or more for legal roles. Your result page shows which you meet; good CCAT scores by role lists them all.
Can you improve a CCAT score?
Yes, mainly through pacing and familiarity. Most lost points come from stalling on one hard question, slow recognition of question types and long-hand arithmetic. Two or three timed tests with every mistake reviewed fix most of this. Our guide to how to pass the CCAT has the full plan, and the CCAT sample questions explain every question type.
The prep pack adds an explained answer for every question, your time per question, two more full tests and a 7-day plan built around your weakest section.
